Washington has discovered a brilliant financial strategy. Cut benefits for people who need them, cut taxes for people who don't, and borrow the difference from people who aren't old enough to vote.

Russia's understanding of the "diesel deal" is that it will just resume selling some diesel to its usual consumers (more recently those were mostly Turkey and Brazil), just like it planned to do anyway before the "Potemkin deal" with Trump.

No, Mamdani can’t stop a land *purchase* in NYC (and only in NYC) because he opposes it. If there’s a real legal basis to block it, that comes from courts, regulators, or property law, not campaign rhetoric.

Stopping any warnings of incoming missiles - yeah thats killing Ukrainians. Note that Trumps pressure is always on Ukraine (to stop hitting refineries, to give up their land etc) never on Putin.

Trump promised to end Putin's war in Ukraine in a day. Instead, he has made concession after concession to Putin, getting nothing concrete in return. I now think Ukrainians would have been better off if Trump had done absolutely nothing. THREAD. 1/

Trump has actually maintained sanctions on Russia except for his temporary oil waiver earlier this year and the new temporary diesel waiver, both intended to bring down domestic prices (without success), and he continues to share intelligence that facilitates attacks on Russia.

The amazing thing was that, even though they never agreed to it, the Ukrainians tried to respect Trump's energy ceasefire for 2 days. All it got them was the USA helping the Russians destroy Ukrainian power and kill Ukrainians. This is the only response to Trump/Putin
Russia’s Rostov. The local oil terminal exploded amid a massive fire.
