Since that 2,000 kWh is mainly fuelled by coal and gas, the carbon footprint of a single Bitcoin transaction exceeds 1,200 kilograms of CO2.
I can fly from London to New York, rent a petrol car and drive all the way to Seattle and my total carbon footprint would still be lower.

During 2021 Bitcoin consumed 134 TWh in total, which is comparable to the electrical energy consumed by a country like Argentina.
