Crafting, mobs, caves, and more - no external assets used. ~1 hour, ~$20. Cheaper than buying the actual game.

OpenAI has scored a major win with 5.6 Luna, not just in terms of PR, but also due to the efficiency that makes it possible to offer the service to everyone for free, as is the case here.
Luna is cheap *and* good (enough) for several tasks. I still find it impressive that a model like this, which would have been state-of-the-art not so long ago, is now being given away for free.

It’s true, in 21/22 I went around the valley asking everyone to train coding specific models with us: Google, Meta, everyone — no one thought it was as important as NLP use cases — eventually we trained our own: Replit-code-3b and then everyone got code pilled.
Amjad Masad says Google, $GOOGL, killed a coding model deal with Replit because it was scared of disrupting Search. Replit is now worth 9 billion dollars.
"I was going around Silicon Valley. There wasn't anyone paying attention to AI coding. And I was talking to OpenAI, I was talking to Anthropic, I was talking to Google."
"We got excited about potentially doing a deal together and we got close, but then Google actually killed it. And the reason is because Google Search is such a profitable product that they were worried about the reputation, and they were worried about Google Search being disrupted."

In April the CEO of Replit said the thing that got him flamed across tech X.
Amjad Masad: "I no longer think you should learn how to code."
On Tuesday he went further. He now thinks never learning is the edge.
"Entrepreneurs that don't have coding experience might be at an advantage because coders will still kind of look at the code, and will still think about the architecture, and they want to use the latest and greatest thing, and they're going to lose a lot of time and distraction just playing with things."
Replit is worth 9 billion dollars and employs 200 people.

Sandboxes are hard.
With all the “AI escaping sandbox” it’s easy to think “wow AI so scary,” but most AI companies, and recent “sandbox providers” are making very basic mistakes.
At Replit we’ve been running sandboxes since 2016 and targeted by every hacker and state actor under the sun. So we learned a thing or two.
Main advice: Assume zero-days exist — because they do — and think in layers of protection in a zero-trust framework.
