Love it! We ran the Wing T in high school to win the Arkansas state championship in 1983. It’s very hard to stop if you don’t make mistakes. No penalties! Difficult to stop 4 yards a play over and over, then sneak a pass for a big gain!

Ive been saying for years that someone needs to go back to old school misdirection football. Kids these days have no idea how to defend it and most coaches don’t either.

Too funny.... Young idiots rolling their eyes, ummm, excuse me its Flexbone! Older guys that have seen everything know this is just Wing T stuff, just as I see many 'new' plays that are Houston Veer type plays, that I ran/coached in the 70's....

It’s called the flex bone it isn’t wing T… two totally different offenses

Of all the offenses we faced over the years the wing t created the most conflicts for us defensively.

Absolutely 💯 awesome. People have said it can't be done at the D1 level. Many teams have run some variations of wing-t at the D1 level for years but would never admit to saying it is wing-t based plays. Granted every style offense has FB Trap but this is most definitely wing-t

As others have said, not Wing-T. That is the Flexbone.

If OU is ever looking for another OC, I’d love for it to be Chip Kelly.
