"but chose to performatively walk in for the invited press" I thought you were passionately in favour of performative marches, Emma?
This tells you everything you need to know. Michelle O’Neill has a PSNI vehicle and could have driven into the police station, but chose to performatively walk in for the invited press. What a surprise. Fake, reckless and divisive behaviour once again. People are sick of this behaviour. Yet on important issues - not to be found. Tomorrow we have an opportunity and offer to meet with the Secretary of State and the Chief Secretary of the Treasury on budget and she has refused to attend that meeting. This is not responsibility, that is recklessness and an abdication of her role.

Isn't the rumour that Trump insisted on it at the Turnberry meeting?
This is big. The UK’s National Security Advisor had nothing to do with banning Palestine Action as terrorists. Even though the question of terrorism is at the core of his job. So who did push the proscription of Palestine Action? The walls are closing in.

BBC Scotland have managed to misplace both Aberdeen and Lerwick on this map👇 There are bigger things to worry about on the BBC. But why are they so shoddy, so often?

This one might be worth having handy the next time "Get On With The Day Job" passes someone's lips.
This morning, I signed a landmark trade agreement with Tainan in Taiwan, strengthening ties between our regions and creating new opportunities for trade, investment and innovation. Greater Lincolnshire has a huge amount to offer, and this agreement is another step towards showing the world what we do best. 🇹🇼 🇬🇧
Community note
UK mayors cannot sign binding international trade agreements (reserved for central UK government); Taiwanese reports describe this as a sister city twinning agreement, and prior official statements called it a non-binding MOU for local cooperation. greaterlincolnshire-cca.gov.uk/news/article/6… wennan.org.tw/uninews_view.p… citp.ac.uk/publications/t

"Defensive" missions for Saudi Arabia while the Saudis bomb Yemen. It is like "defensively" holding a man's arms behind his back while your mate hits him.
EXCLUSIVE: The UK’s Royal Air Force will fly defensive missions to protect Saudi Arabia from escalating Houthi attacks, according to British officials familiar with the matter RAF Typhoon fighter jets will help defend Saudi cities and infrastructure against aerial attacks from the Iran-backed militant group, the people said. Andy Burnham has signed off on the decision Britain will also provide an Atlas A400M transport aircraft with heavy lift capability to move kit around Saudi, as well as military advisers The decision marks an extension of UK support for Saudi in the wake of Houthi attacks which have killed more than a dozen people in Riyadh. There have been multiple attacks on the kingdom in recent days

The BBC Scotland channel was set up to nominally meet the demand for a Scottish news programme without giving it a proper audience on a major channel. To now retain BBC Scotland as an iplayer channel *while completely scrapping the news programme* is extraordinary cynicism.

BBC Scotland will platform campaign groups & think tanks demanding the SNP Govt adopt a policy *but drop* those groups if and when the policy is adopted. We are seeing it with the buses issue. Voices who've been demanding public control have disappeared. They're no longer useful.

Quite right. Sauron and Saruman had lots of quarrels, some of them quite nasty, but they still sided with each other on the key matter of Evil v Good.
As someone previously sued for £200k by Sandy Easdale, I side with him on this matter.

On past form this will be merely the start of the Reform group completely falling apart. I said in May that I wouldn't be surprised if Offord himself sets up his own party so he can become a proper leader.
MSP Amanda Bland has quit Reform Scotland, meaning Scottish Labour is now the second biggest party in Holyrood. news.stv.tv/politics/labour-…
