The tsundere trope exists because some girls act tough, put up walls, insult. Not because they hate the hero, they just don't want to be hurt again. They want a man to proves their cynicism wrong, that behind the walls there is someone they can trust.
The malfoy thing being reduced to generic tsundere trope reminds me once again of my thesis that tsundere is misogynistic in origin because it's the mindset of guys who want to pretend girls who can't stand them irl are just acting that way because they secretly like them

But I think the reason the tsundere is claimed to be a "misogynic origin" is because it presents women as flawed for their lack of trust. When feminists like this see their lack of trust as a virtue.

It might be easier to to narrow it down to 90 books. I feel like I'm missing so many.

I was in a bit of a funk yesterday. Then I went to my a job which is caring for a child outside and magically all my problems felt better. I wonder how many of modern women's psychological problems come from them needing outdoors and children to emotionally regulate.

Throughout my 20s, I went through the painful process of learning I wasn't as gifted as I thought. In some ways, that's good, but it's also hard to keep hope that, through the grind, I can become as talented as I thought I was.

I'm not going to judge people for the nongay Harry Potter ships they enjoy. Well, except for my one ex-friend who wrote a book of Lupin/Hermione fanfiction.
I’m not going to delve into Harry Potter posting too much but if you don’t understand why Harry was into Ginny you are not right wing.

We came up with a better solution than that in 1878. It's called a shotgun wedding.
Unwed mothers shouldn’t be allowed to keep their babies. Amazing how many children we’ve left to suffer in the name of feminism.

"Oh! God, we implore thee to quicken our sense of thy mercy in the redemption of the world, of the value of that holy religion in which we have been brought up, that we may not, throw away the salvation thou hast given us, nor be Christians only in name. " Jane Austen

Was she dying? She didn't want to die. And at Potter's hands. How humiliating. If she closed her eyes, she didn't know if she'd ever open them again. The last thing she'd ever see was his face staring down at her. Well, maybe that wouldn't be too bad. Still, she hated to lose.

Those are rookie numbers. Readers having been complaining about Ivanhoe being paired with Rowena for 200 years.
Malfoid being so popular shows that 20 years later no one likes Harry being paired with Ginny Weasley

People really like quoting Jane Austen out of context. When the heroine says this line in Emma she's ruining her friend's life.

Most men in Sense and Sensibility are under the control of powerful women. Both Edward and Willoughby are disinherited by women. What every character has control over is themselves, to make the honorable, and moral choice even when it goes directly against their feelings.

The real point here is that Sense and Sensibility revolves around the terrible lack of power that females have: as soon as their father dies, Elinor, Marianne and Margaret lose everything. So, ridiculous that one of the powerful, rich men who control lives is played by a woman.

The thing the made Lilo interesting, is that the narrative doesn't side with her behavior even though it's a reaction to trauma. Her character arc is to grow beyond being an outcast.
Lilo was the first Disney character to do the quirky weird outcast kid thing before it became over saturated

There are plenty of 'sexually liberated' characters in Jane Austen's books. Willoughby, Henry Crawford and Mary Crawford, Wickham... Wait, I'm beginning to notice a pattern, they're all villains. Austen knew degeneracy existed, she just didn't approve of it.

Are you unfamiliar with the cross-dressing that occurred in the Regency Period? Gender attire-bending masquerades occured, and it was not unheard of for upper class/elite women or men to shift attire; it was tolerated as form of attire play and eccentricity.

The whole point of Sense & Sensibility is that conformity to the rules of Christian society and self restrain is better than uncontrolled self expression. Adding a crossdressing female undermines the the entire message of the book even with only two lines.

They have to include some diversity. Thankfully they made the part really small, only 2 lines

Sense and Sensibility 1995 vs. 2026: We went from Hugh Laurie playing Mr. Palmer to a transvestite woman. To misquote Nietzsche "Art is dead. Art remains dead. And we have killed it.

I work with a girl with many of the same conditions as the child murdered by euthanasia. She can't talk, she has seizures, but she wakes up smiling, loves cuddles, is happy outside listening to music. Her life makes this world better and is worth every bit as much as mine.

The narrative the show pushes isn't ambiguous. Every traditional family in the show is a façade to hide abuse and cheating. Women are punished for being housewives, and are only happy when they prioritize their career. Mad Men is tallented liberal propaganda.
mad men is the best show of all time. not because of nostalgia, or even the exquisite production. its because it was the last time ambiguity was allowed to be shown on television. every show now is marvel avenger slop. even the weird ones club you over the head with dense morals.

True colorblindness has never existed and the West still survived. The 70-90's were just DEI of lesser discrimination where competent minorities were given privileged positions above White people. Racial hatred is bad but in-group loyalty is necessary for a group to survive.
And yet, true colorblindness is the only real solution, and must be pursued, however imperfectly, at all costs, or the West is dead. There’s no other way out of this. Young white men need to be told the truth, not pandered to.
