After many sleepless nights trying to decide if I should go full on gray, we instead adjusted my highlights, and stayed #mostlyblonde. I did lose at least one fan who unfollowed me because I didn’t go gray. But like Sam says, “If it’s not a hell, yah! Then it’s a NO!” 🥰

Hey, I'm pretty sure that's the picture I sent of (AI)you looking great in gray. And I'm pretty sure I'm thrilled that you shared it with your hairdresser. At least it was a contender ! 😂😂😂

Do what you like, because you are the one that has to live with it. I am 60 and my stylist appts are closer together now to keep the white (my mother has white hair) at bay. 😎

To be honest here, you're really young to go silver, plenty of time for that ahead. You look wonderful blonde, and I fully support your choice.

I am going gray. I do not like it. But for my hair’s health- which is struggling, I feel it necessary. My 83 year old mother cannot stand it. Lol

The follower you lost most likely has weird mental issues. That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard.

I recently went gray. It is weird. Some people are very nice to me now. But, sometimes people act like I have dementia or am deaf... really weird stuff. I might go back to coloring, the option is always open.

I’m in the exact same place with my hair. It just seems strange to go to my hairdresser and just get a trim.

Your hair would appreciate it if you stopped with all the chemicals, really. Just think about it next time. Gray can be quite lovely. Just FYI, niece is a beautician; and way too many people, in her profession are coming down with specific cancers. Just saying. Why not err on the side of caution? You’ll still be lovely.

It's not the external that makes you Janice, America's Thunder & Lightning Sweetheart. It's the Godly, lovely, kind, glad-to-know-you person we see, hear, pray for, and have come to love.

Be lucky you’re going blonde to grey as brunette to grey is the hardest transition!🙋🏻‍♀️

Do whatever makes you feel better. My hair started going gray a decade ago and being allergic to chemicals I can no longer color it.

I’m at the same place with hair I think we are twins. Never ready for gray lol! I had her put more warmth into my really light blonde and am happy with it.

My wife decided to go all gray after tiring of going to the hairdresser so often. She looks great but it added a good ten years, don’t tell her I said that!

I think you need to gradually do it don’t do it and make an extreme difference. That’s what I’m doing.

You would look gorgeous whatever you do! I decided a year ago to take the au naturale plunge, and I love it. I'm still getting use to the different in hair texture. I'm a curly-girl, and that's a whole other issue in itself - think frizzies! Also, which haircare products to use (and not use), makeup, even clothing color choices have changed for me, which has been fun exploring the different colors I can wear now whereas I wouldn't have before. I think you'll find the benefits, especially the money saved at the at the hairdressers, make it all worthwhile. Happy journey! 😊

Janice, it's hard to do. I have tried. Fortunately, I have dark blonde hair naturally so my gray isn't so stark. But while I had good intentions of embracing gray, it's tough. It might take you a while.

I cut mine off (terrible idea) and it will grow back a hideous gray brown brass and I plan on hitting the bottle (bleach) as soon as I get some length. My hair is on vacation for now. Learn from my mistake. My mom has long beautiful gray hair and I thought mine would be the same…WRONG!

You are so beautiful, you could change your hair color to purple and you would still be lovely.
