The contract awards keep coming for $CACI, even after the company just reported a quarterly book-to-bill ratio of 2.0x for its fiscal first quarter.
CACI International Inc $CACI announced today that it has been awarded a four-year task order valued at up to $145 million to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division
(NSWCCD) in advancing next-generation maritime capabilities for the U.S. Navy.
Under the award, CACI will develop and integrate advanced technologies for autonomous systems, maritime sensors, and next-generation naval platforms. This work will help the Navy improve fleet readiness, strengthen operational flexibility, and maintain maritime superiority against evolving threats.
"Maintaining maritime superiority requires the ability to turn emerging technologies into operational capabilities faster," said John Mengucci, CACI President and Chief Executive Officer. "Our work will help the Navy get critical technologies into the hands of warfighters sooner, giving them the capabilities they need to make better decisions and stay ahead of emerging threats."

I still hold all those stocks btw. I'm going to try to redeploy the dry powder I raised today into different areas, b/c I question if I'm really well-enough diversified. I just need to figure out what I want to get into now.
I still think $BIL and $SGOV are good temporary holding places for storing dry powder.

I don't understand the Goldman Sachs rationale for assigning an equity analyst (Noah Poponak) to cover a sector where he evidently has a consistent hatred for the stocks that he covers. He assigns a Sell rating and a $103 price target to $SAIC, when the company is executing well and is guiding $10.65-$10.75 in current-year earnings per share. At the $10.70 midpoint of guidance for EPS, a price target of $103 is less than 10x (9.6x) current-year earnings.

I think my advice late last year was better, when I estimated $SAIC's fair value at $150+ based on earnings power and said $130 would be a good level to start trimming. $SAIC closed at $87.53 on 12/3/2025. Today's close of $143.54 is +64% since then.
$130+ is actually just my target to start trimming. Fair value based on $SAIC's earnings power is more like $150+.
