During your convention my dog got murdered by an unleashed bully breed fake service dog in the lobby of your Anchorage location. Immediate follow up needed: 1. The dog and owner were not removed from the hotel following the 9/25 attack. The staff did not communicate even to each other what happened. When we checked out yesterday I told the staff our dog died overnight in the veterinary hospital and they had no idea what I was talking about. The person working the desk two days later was unaware a violent attack occurred and both parties were still in the building. I asked the staff who witnessed the attack about this problem as I didn’t want my children murdered or my other dog mauled and she assured me from now on that other dog would be leashed. 2. The person appears to be a known figure. She is known to your staff. The front desk who was present when the unleashed dog attacked my dog said they “never saw him do that before”. Perhaps that’s why he had free wandering privileges to the lobby. 3. Both myself AND ANIMAL CONTROL have been told the mysterious management figure who can provide the footage of this attack is not available at work on weekends. Someone in a position of authority at your business needs to watch what happened to my dog. Today. Quickly. You can also watch my dog deteriorate over the two days until early am 9/27 when we had to use a luggage cart to get him to the hospital again before he died. If you watch the attack happen yourselves you will understand how outrageous it was to keep this dog on the property and to not have any internal process to communicate this among staff. It was violent and clearly unprovoked. 4. The person casually roaming the lobby with an unleashed pit on what appears to be a fake service dog vest has a history of contact and removals for other dogs with violent attack records with APD. I recommend you follow up. She appears to be a known figure in your hotel. Two days after the attack APD had to go back to your hotel to obtain the attacking animal after mine died. I have been told that I should stop communicating so openly about this and become litigious. I want action and safety for your guests. I do not care about anything else.
