He diagnoses plays quickly, pursues sideline to sideline and closes in a hurry when asked to blitz. "I just play fast. I play violent. I'm flying around the field, and I'll make anybody feel my presence no matter what." Michigan became the first program to offer Thomas, but it almost certainly won't be the last. Linebackers with his combination of instincts, physicality and athleticism are difficult to find, and his recruitment appears to be rising. "It was crazy.
