The Board of Deputies of British Jews, together with @JewishLondon, is recruiting two roles for the Jewish Health Equity Partnership (JHEP).
JHEP is part of The National Lottery Community Fund’s Health Equities Partnership, tackling health inequalities driven by structural racism and discrimination.
The team will build community‑wide partnerships, lead advocacy across the health sector, deliver training, commission research and embed long‑term sustainability.

This afternoon I met the London Jewish forum @JewishLondon with security top of their agenda. A particular concern was safety around synagogues - people in Westminster of any faith must be able attend their place of worship without fear or intimidation. A constructive meeting.

A synagogue is more than a place of worship. It is a community hub. Activities that make people feel intimidated when attending Jewish communal venues have consequences far beyond a single event.
We are deeply disturbed at the wholly unjustified protest called for this morning outside a synagogue.
We are calling on the police to ensure such protests are kept a significant distance from places of worship to prevent intimidation to members of the Jewish community.

It is very disappointing that MPs and other public figures have not acknowledged this and instead inflamed tensions through partial and misleading commentary.
