A doctor then asked if he could give her “medicine.” She lay motionless with her eyes closed and never answered. He proceeded anyway. Ten minutes later she was pronounced dead, hands clasped in prayer. This is the predictable result of expanding state-sanctioned killing and calling it compassion.
