I started making notebooks from scraps of paper. This one has 20 pages. I give them different names. The more scruffy they look, the better.

Unlimited Proven Marketing Ideas! Today, I’m going to show you how to access an endless supply of proven marketing ideas. And that’s not all. You will have already, personally seen these ideas working, before you even use them! It’s a process I call engaged observation and it can massively improve your sales results. Here's how it works.  Every day, you encounter marketing that motivates you to take some kind of action. As an engaged observer, your task is to notice when this happens. Then, consider what it was that inspired you to act. For example.  - What motivated you to fill in the enquiry form on that website? - What motivated you to spend more than your budget for on a new product? - What motivated you to try that new brand of shampoo? - What motivated you to add more items to an online shopping cart? - What motivated you to believe the product reviews on a certain website? - What motivated you to listen to a whole advertisement, rather then press skip? - What motivated you to hire your last adviser, coach, trainer or consultant? - What motivated you to try a different restaurant? - What motivated you to click on a call to action link/button? - What motivated you to tell your friends about a service provider or brand? - What motivated you to subscribe to a newsletter you receive? - What motivated you to call a particular service provider for a quote? - What motivated you to trust the last service provider you used? - What motivated you to buy the latest book, from an author you’ve never read before? - What motivated you to switch to your current phone network? Each of those actions contained at least one motivating factor. Something that inspired you to take action. Something that could inspire your prospects to take action. Something you can identify, adapt, test in your own marketing and measure the results.  Each time you use engaged observation in your marketing, you start with something you know is effective. You'll never need to start from scratch again! This saves you time and helps you get it right, faster!!! What I’ve done here, is show you a tiny number of examples, to open your mind to the huge number of marketing improvement opportunities open to you.  🚨 Subscribe to my free newsletter using the link below. ⬇️ #SmallBiz #BizDev #SmallBusiness

Stephen King & J. K. Rowling became celebrities because of their books. Richard Osman and Graham Norton were celebrities before they wrote theirs. Two journeys to the same bestseller lists. But does knowing the author change how we read?tangledprosewritingthroughit…

Yeah, it's easy to keep doing something just because it's worked in the past. But markets change, customers change, and what worked yesterday might not work tomorrow. Knowing when to adapt, and having the discipline to do it, is a skill in itself.

Less Is More: Small Decisions By Jim Connolly As we approach the final 2 months of 2026, I hope you and your business are thriving. To keep things moving forward, or to kickstart things if you’re struggling, the following advice will help.  I’m going to start with an unusual question: Imagine you've had toast for breakfast 3 mornings in a row. If you started to find toast dull, would you carry on having it for breakfast every day?  Of course not. You’d try something new. You’d mix things up a bit. The thing is, it’s easy to change what you have for breakfast.  It’s just a small decision. The power of small decisions People struggle with the big, important decisions. Like the decision hundreds of thousands of small business owners are making right now, regarding the all-new, very different needs of their marketplace.  However, even achieving a big decision like that, requires lots of small decisions, leading to lots of small actions. The most successful business owners already know this. It stops them being overwhelmed when change is essential. Here are some areas, where making small decisions will compound, to help you enjoy major progress. - The things in which you invest your time, energy and money. Are they consistent with the business results you want?  - Your willingness to make the changes required, in order to thrive in a constantly evolving marketplace. Is it consistent with the business results you want?  - The people you choose to heed or take advice from. Some will lift you to new highs with their advice. Others, will lower you to new depths. So, are they consistent with the business results you want? - Your attitude to taking advantage of new opportunities. Is it consistent with the business results you want?  You get the idea. The power of small decisions When you take a step back and look at your business with perspective, what you are looking at is the result of the daily decisions you have already made. If you are happy with what you see and the direction the business is heading in, then carry on as you are. However, if you are not happy with the current state of your business or the direction you’re heading in, then start making small decisions today, which will improve things. Small adjustments to your decision making, backed with the action required, is all it takes to create an outstanding business. And finally... NEVER fit your lifestyle around the restrictions of an under performing business. Always increase the performance of your business, so it powers the lifestyle you want for your family and yourself.  Stop settling for less. You really, truly don’t have to. An excellent piece by @petepachal looking at how ranking highly in AI answers really matters now to journalists. Plus, why being directly relevant in a specialist area is increasingly valued by AIs. Well worth a read! #AI #PR #Journalism #Media
AI citation rates are highest in an article's first seven days, which is why @petepachal says steady beat coverage now matters more to PR teams than a one-off hit. Muck Rack and Cision both rank reporters on it. mediacopilot.ai/ai-is-changi…
