In Oleshky, people are eating grass, and the bodies of the dead have remained unburied for months, - BBC. People attempting to leave or reach neighboring settlements for food are risking their lives. On September 20, a couple was killed by a drone strike while returning from Radensky with a bag of food. Four separate sources confirmed their deaths to the BBC. According to residents, the occupation authorities do not allow the burial of people killed by drones, mines, or other violent causes without an autopsy by a Russian doctor. As a result, some bodies have been lying in the streets since December. The BBC confirmed these accounts with photographs received from several residents. A local volunteer is maintaining a list of the dead and says it already includes nearly 1,200 people.
