John Nores - who started the Marijuana Enforcement Team to combat cartel grows on US soil - when asked if he leans toward keeping marijuana illegal:
“No. I don't I don't think keeping cannabis illegal is ever gonna help us. It's it has no place in environmental purity.
If we regulated it federally and had a standard, like the way we do alcohol and tobacco, are you gonna have some black market cannabis? Yeah. You probably are. To the extent you do now? Absolutely not.”
“Until we have secure borders and we're safe in our own country, and our kids aren't being poisoned by bad weed, and wildlife, and these chemicals, and these billion dollar, multi billion dollar profiteers, these transnational criminal groups, China and Mexican cartels, at the top of that list, I don't think we're, we're making a dent until we get that handled first.”
