Florida sheriffs are releasing promotional videos for Flock cameras after @GovRonDeSantis ordered license plate readers removed from state roads. They call them “license plate readers,” but Flock cameras can do much more. I found one place in Florida without them: Highlands Hammock State Park. Its historic catwalks are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, yet they’re closed for repairs and the public can’t walk them. Cancel the cameras. Fix the catwalks. Fund our state parks.
