We keep seeing more old tanks from storage turn into monuments. Now this T-62 likely originating in the 111th storage base and just put in a pedestal in Troitsa. Kudos to @WillKnowler

The Russians have begun to take some of these tanks and put them on pedastals.

And just as Wilson told me about it I checked the 111th in Copernicus and indeed there are some recent movement marks in the main area of the base still holding tanks (T-54/55s and T-62s).

Once again, this speaks poorly of the remaining stockpiles, and especially the T-62s. As expected.

28/ I believe however that by year we’ve passed the peak of T-62 refurbs. That they’re working on the wrecked T-62 hulls parked at the factory yards for years means the ones in storage are equally terribly preserved and time intensive to reactivate.
