"The original plans were to take the whole village out." Harmondsworth's medieval barn, church, and the pubs, which are centuries old, would all dissappear in one foul swoop. But, even with alterations to the plan, any surviving buildings, like the community itself, would still die. If you wouldn't mind, please repost this clip and/or the original (full length video) attached to help highlight not only this tragic case, but the many others that we've yet to hear about. 📽 @ChelseaDan5 Interviewee: Ivor, the Organ player for Harmondsworth's St Mary's Church. @Britains___Pubs
The Fate of Harmondsworth Village (The proposed runway of Heathrow Airport) In this special episode, we visit the historic village of Harmondsworth, which faces partial demolition, severe noise risks, and community displacement under the proposed third runway expansion of Heathrow Airport. It's not only its pubs that will suffer or disappear, but everything that makes it so magnificent. Whilst in this quaint village, we speak to Ivor (the organist of St Mary's), Alan, and Justine (volunteer's at the nearby Medieval barn) to hear the inside story behind what's taken place. The pubs, homes, and various other features will either disappear or die a slow death from being left without a community. Harmondsworth is a wonderful village with an extensive history dating from Anglo-Saxon England, through the Norman era, and every epoch since. We hear of how damaging and plans were (and have continued to be) and the effect it's had on those who live there. The proposed plans by Heathrow and the potential fate of Harmondsworth and its surrounding areas set a very dark precedent indeed. The plans for this village mean listed buildings that are centuries old would be demolished without a second thought. A millennium of social history could be wiped out. It's important that those who care for the sanctity of Britain and its past watch this video and share it with others. This video will end all doubts as to how much danger Britain's history and beauty face in modern times. Thank you all for your viewership and support. 🤝

This may well go down as the single greatest transfer of public assets by elected democratic governments in world history. Without any serious consultation with their own citizens, Western governments eagerly aligned with the UN and signed onto framework agreements like the 2015 Paris Accord. What began as voluntary international targets rapidly morphed into binding domestic legislation. The resulting legacy is the systematic exclusion of taxpayers from decision-making, while administrations power ahead, committing billions in subsidies to unproven pet projects—such as Australia’s much-hyped green hydrogen initiative. Virtually all heavy industry across the West is now in chronic decline. Manufacturing jobs are being hollowed out, striking directly at power-intensive sectors like electric arc steel, aluminium smelting, and fertiliser production. Once-abundant, cheap, and reliable hydrocarbon energy is being degraded and decommissioned in favour of weather-dependent renewables. Simultaneously, the supply chain for this transition has been handed lock, stock, and barrel to Beijing. China now produces roughly 90% of all photovoltaic components, refined critical minerals, and panel hardware—cementing its position as the greatest manufacturing power in history through an unprecedented transfer of Western wealth. In place of high-density power generation, more than a million wind turbines and an estimated 9 billion solar panels are now scattered across open farmlands, hillsides, and coastal vistas. Because these sources are intermittent and unreliable, integrating them into existing power grids presents a colossal $21 trillion global infrastructure challenge. Prior to this shift, Western industrial policy prioritised dense, dispatchable energy security. Today, governments unilaterally lock in multi-decade decarbonisation commitments that outlast their electoral tenures by decades. Vast tracts of public and agricultural land are greenlit and bulldozed for transmission corridors, access roads, and sprawling industrial turbine arrays—all to serve an intangible belief system that vilifies carbon dioxide, the very driver of essential energy and biological growth. The tangible result? Some of the most expensive household power bills in modern history, the destruction of dispatchable coal and gas capacity, and severe damage to national industrial, economic, and defensive resilience. As one outraged writer noted, Net Zero stands as perhaps the most diabolical act of self-inflicted harm ever visited upon democratic nations by their own leadership. Government by regulatory decree is not government by representation. Mandating a multi-decade economic rewiring without an explicit electoral mandate violates the fundamental social contract between the state and the citizen. Locking in 30-year subsidy contracts strips future generations of their democratic right to adjust policy based on real-world performance. If we weren’t so accustomed to being betrayed, it would be recognised for what it is: a raw, heavy-handed exercise in power at the expense of the people.

Dear Twiterati friends, I deigned to give my husbert rice with his chilli last week when usually it is accompanied by a jacket potato and a sprinkle of fromage. We had run out of large potatoes for said purpose so I substituted with rice. He is not allowing me to forget my misdemeanour, and every day since, when he enquires what’s for supper he also includes the addendum of, “ It’s not rice is it?” Note we have been married for almost 25 years and he’s never been this hesitant about rice before. Indeed, rice with curry is definitely not a problem. In his defence he did say that having rice with my homemade chilli was a waste because my chilli is so good. (Nice husband save there). What can I do to assuage his fears and save my sanity? I was thinking about a scold’s cage or some other such contraption but I fear that may be a step too far. Yours, Jools x

To be English means being descended from the native British hunter-gatherers, the Bronze Age Beaker folk of the British Isles, the Celtic Britons and the Anglo-Saxons. Our native British and Anglo-Saxon blood, ancestry and culture make us who we are. No legislation or paperwork will alter that simple fact. We deserve to live in peace in our own land, among our own people, with our heritage, identity and way of life secure for future generations. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Wlanc to beon Englis.

More & more people in the UK are now waking up to the fact that if they don’t stand up for their Christian faith, if they don’t take it seriously … very soon they won’t be ALLOWED to be Christian at all & will instead be forced to submit to an entirely different religion.

A state that puts safety first treats the same act—assault, riot, intimidation, sexual violence, arson—as a crime regardless of the offender’s politics, ethnicity, religion, class, or usefulness to the government. Erosion of impartial law starts when officials, police, or prosecutors apply a different standard in practice.

An ancient oil lamp could not light the whole road. It gave just enough light to see the next few steps. Psalm 119 says: “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Not a floodlight. Not the whole journey. Just enough light to keep moving. Maybe faith was never meant to show us everything ahead. Only enough to take the next step.

WHAT THE HELL HAVE WE BECOME? Birmingham City Council is going to the High Court over unauthorised flags and other attachments on its streets following a campaign overwhelmingly associated with the Union Flag and St George’s Cross. The council says this is about highways, safety, intimidation and unauthorised use of street furniture. Fine. Then here’s a remarkably simple test: Apply exactly the same rules to EVERY flag. Union Flag? Same rule. St George’s Cross? Same rule. Palestinian flag? Same rule. Pakistani flag? Same rule. Somali flag? Same rule. Bangladeshi flag? Same rule. No favourites. No fashionable exceptions. No deciding that one community’s flag represents “diversity” while another’s represents a threat to “community cohesion”. Because something has gone badly wrong when displaying the flag of England, in England, becomes something authorities feel compelled to explain, manage and take to court. The Union Flag isn’t extremist. The St George’s Cross isn’t racist. They belong to everyone who calls this country home, regardless of colour, religion or ancestry. And British people should never be made to feel embarrassed about displaying them. If the issue genuinely is attaching things illegally or dangerously to council property, enforce that rule universally. But if foreign national or political flags are tolerated in precisely the circumstances where British flags are removed, then councils should expect people to ask some extremely uncomfortable questions. Patriotism isn’t hatred. National pride isn’t extremism. And equality doesn’t mean celebrating everybody’s identity except your own. One city. One law. One standard. Every flag. Anything less isn’t inclusion. It’s hypocrisy wrapped in a diversity policy.

England is in shock. Not the shock of surprise. The shock of recognition. That moment when we finally admit what we have been seeing for years but were too polite, too exhausted, too bullied to name. Our capital city flies foreign flags on New Year's Eve and its mayor jokes about independence. Our Prime Minister appointed a Hamas sympathiser as his chief legal adviser and a convicted fraudster as his deputy. Our police force spent £631 million on diversity training while corruption investigations collapsed by 70% and rape gangs operated with impunity. Our Energy Secretary oversaw £44 million vanishing into fraudulent schemes. Our Chancellor pocketed £54,000 from a woman who accused him of failing 1,400 raped girls. Our Manchester Mayor covered up grooming gangs while taking UAE blood money. This is not a government. This is a looting party with parliamentary privilege. Let us be specific, shall we? Let us do what the BBC won't. Andy Burnham. The "King of the North" who lost his own working class constituency because his own people saw through him. The Health Secretary who buried 1,200 deaths at Mid Staffordshire to protect institutional reputations. The man who voted for an illegal war on fabricated intelligence, then voted eighteen times against inquiries into his own crime. The Mayor who spent £27 million on consultants while children were raped in the streets he controlled. The Prime Minister who, within weeks of taking office, exchanged texts with an imposter posing as Trump's chief of staff because his operational security is a joke. Who appointed Andy Slaughter, photographed shaking hands with Hamas officials in Jerusalem, to decide which groups Britain proscribes as terrorists. Who made Louise Haigh, convicted of fraud against the police, his de facto Deputy Prime Minister. Who made Miatta Fahnbulleh, daughter of a Liberian dictator's minister, Energy Secretary after she lost £44 million to fraud. Who made John Healey, who was "not convinced" an inquiry into 1,400 raped girls in his constituency would help them, his Chancellor. Who made Bev Craig, who covered up Manchester's grooming gangs, Mayor of the city region. This is not failure upward. This is criminality institutionalised. And London? London has Sadiq Khan. The human rights lawyer who freed Louis Farrakhan, Louis Farrakhan, to enter Britain. Who consulted on the defence of a 9/11 conspirator. Who visited terror suspects in prison and shared platforms nine times with an imam who called women subservient and gays condemned. Who signed a letter blaming 7/7 on British foreign policy, not on the bombers. Who has presided over a 72% rise in knife crime, was officially rebuked by the statistics watchdog for lying about it, and stripped the Met of AI tools that catch corrupt officers. Who extracted £500 million from drivers through ULEZ while his own assessments admitted it had "negligible effect on air quality." Who bankrupted TfL (£12 billion in debt) and hiked our council tax by 71%. Who lit the London Eye in EU colours on New Year's Eve and "joked" about declaring independence. Who denies grooming gangs exist in his city in 2026, calling survivors "politically motivated." Our capital is being managed by a man who thinks it is his personal city state. Our country is being run by a cabinet that reads like a criminal indictment. Our police are more concerned with pronouns than burglaries. Our borders are sieves operated by Iranian terror units. Our media, our BBC, our ITV, our Channel 4, maintain a disciplined silence while MI5 stops twenty terrorist plots in a year and says nothing. They do not serve us. They serve each other. They serve ideologies imported from American campuses and Gulf funded think tanks. They serve the next consultancy contract, the next peerage, the next sinecure in a Brussels bureaucracy or a UN agency. And we? We pay for it all. We pay the ULEZ charges for air quality that doesn't improve. We pay the council tax hikes for services that don't arrive. We pay the TV licence for news that isn't reported. We pay for the diversity officers while our daughters are raped and our police are overwhelmed and our borders are crossed by people who hate us. And where do these operatives report? To 16 Princes Gate, Knightsbridge. The Iranian Embassy. A Grade II listed building overlooking Hyde Park in London's most expensive postcode. The IRGC's London headquarters operates in plain sight, untouched, unraided, unclosed. We proscribed the group. We declared them terrorists. We gave ourselves the legal power to act. And then we did nothing. The Union Jack flies at half mast for dead monarchs while the flag of the Islamic Republic flies at full mast in our capital, directing operations against our own people. The building should be shuttered. The diplomats expelled. The networks dismantled. Instead, it remains open for business. A terror hub with a SW1A postcode. This is not diplomacy. This is surrender wearing a tie. The Iranians know it. The IRGC runs smuggling routes across our Channel with impunity from their Knightsbridge embassy. They send operatives daily via small boats while our navy is deployed to diversity workshops. Trump kills IRGC operatives on Iranian soil. Burnham lets them walk free in London. That is the difference between a leader and a placeholder. Between a nation that survives and one that submits. This is not incompetence. Incompetence is random. This is systematic. This is the deliberate dismantling of a nation by people who view its history as shameful, its people as obstacles, and its institutions as resources to be strip mined for their own advancement. We have been told this is diversity. This is inclusion. This is progress. It is not. It is conquest by administrative procedure. It is the replacement of competence with credentials, of justice with ideology, of truth with narrative. The game is up. The receipts are filed. The pattern is proven. England will not save itself. Either we do it, or it dies. Decide.
