AN OPEN LETTER TO THE COMMUNITY โ๏ธ
In real life, you only get one chance 99% of the time.
$LUNC has been given a second chance โ an opportunity to make something truly exceptional and generational happen. Not only for
#TerraClassic, but for the crypto space as a whole.
If we, as a community, can overcome our differences and somehow make the unthinkable happen โ if we can fully revive this ecosystem against all odds โ this could become a powerful narrative for an entirely new bull run.
Never before has a $100B ecosystem collapsed and then been rebuilt, brick by brick, against all odds, by what someone once beautifully described as โsome random Internet friends.โ
There may be a small chance that there is a grand plan for this chain. But after attending conferences, speaking with industry insiders, and being deeply involved in the ecosystem myself, I simply don't see that probability being higher than a few percent at best.
So I am asking everyone right now:
Shouldn't we do EVERYTHING in our power to increase those odds?
Shouldn't we do everything we can to create a situation in which
@binance or
@cz_binance might eventually decide to openly support the ecosystem and become more involved than they have been so far?
The chain will always remain grateful for everything they have already done.
And honestly โ do you really believe that
@luna_lover69 or
@frag_dude are opposing or actively trying to prevent that kind of support?
Do you really think that we, as founders of a project aiming to become one of the pillars of DeFi on this chain, who have spent personal funds to promote it around the world, and oftentimes to support its development and maintenance out of pocket, wouldn't give everything we have for
@yzilabs to invest in the Layer 1?
Of course we would.
But with everything said, do you honestly believe that any of the entities mentioned above would be attracted to a chain that is:
not building,
not growing,
not marketing itself to the real world,
not maintaining connectivity with other chains,
not attracting new liquidity,
not attracting developers,
not attracting applications,
and not even attempting to bootstrap a small, sustainable on-chain economy without constant external support?
And more importantly:
Do you really think this is something they would want to invest money into as a business?
Would a chain that simply waits for others to burn their funds, time, and resources while offering little in return be something that anyone could confidently market to the broader crypto industry?
I don't think so.
Wouldn't you agree that the only realistic way to pull
$LUNC out of the mud is through honest building, consistent execution, and the careful reconstruction of the flywheel economy that made
$LUNA and
$UST so powerful in the first place?
It's time for the chain to choose a path.
We've chosen ours.
With
$JURIS, we remain laser-focused on our mission: restoring
$LUNC to glory.
We sincerely hope the community supports us. And even if that support is limited initially, we will continue trying to make it work โ one way or another.
As project founders, we have made a promise to our own community, to the remaining DeFi enthusiasts, and to newcomers entering the ecosystem:
We will keep building.
Regardless of the obstacles.
That is exactly what we intend to do.
We will continue implementing Project Flywheel and do everything within our power to make it as successful as possible.
However, we no longer believe that the L1 itself is the right place for Project Flywheel to exist.
Therefore, our intention is for Project Flywheel to become part of the Juris Protocol ecosystem โ fully integrated into our protocol while remaining an opt-in feature for anyone who wants to participate.
We don't believe the future of
$LUNC will be created by waiting for someone else to save us.
We believe it will be created by those who are willing to build.
Brick by brick.
Against all odds.
Puya,
Founder of Juris Protocol
