I love this.
Fun fact - Years ago a guy didnt believe that my drawings were one line so he wrote code to re-trace my linework. It turned out to be one of my favorite accidental collaborations.

In my old hometown there was a unfinished furniture store called "Wood You" and every time I pass the store I got irrationally angry. "Would I what? What's the question? Where's the rest of your sign?" It was like they came up with half a pun and said, "That's good enough."

I don't know if I've ever even stacked rocks in my life, but I fully support the activity just because it infuriates sanctimonious, joyless scolds.
Often, people online aggressively scold rock stackers for harming the environment I spend a lot of time in the woods and am kind of a tree hugger. But the evidence points to this being a bullying tactic by people who don’t spend much time observing the natural world Here’s why:

So cool seeing American landscapes represented in this traditional Japanese manner. Reminds me of some old promotional posters for the Parks department.

New type of guy just dropped: Guy who thinks there was a time when vigilante superheroes were reasonable and realistic from a public policy point of view.
I do think the concept of vigilante superheroes is outdated. They were made in an era where violent crime was wildly more common than today and it's becoming increasingly difficult to consider them without thinking in larger more structural terms.

It didn't use to be like this, but yeah, Google image search is all TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram links with awful super-compressed preview images. Makes me miss the days when Pinterest were the most irritating result.

Sad to say, but he's right, you know. Every attempt to recreate AI memes with traditional methods just generated a lot of mediocre to bad slop. Frankly, I never understood the impulse. I make art because AI *can't* recreate what's in my mind. Why on earth would I want to ape AI?

Remember when people tried to redraw AI memes like Ash Baby and Mr. Chedda to "avoid using AI" but no one could make anything that captured their specific energy quite right? Like there's obviously going to be AI stuff that's better in some dimensions than human made stuff...
