What would actually make outcome-based delivery work:
→ Acceptance criteria defined and agreed up front, in a form precise enough to be checked rather than argued about
→ Payment escrowed at engagement start, so the buyer's commitment is real and the vendor isn't financing the work
→ Smart contract based Payment Release conditional on a verified result — tests passing, an SLA met, an agreed artefact delivered and attested

The biggest threat to Bitcoin mining isn’t regulation or another crypto winter.
It’s capital allocation.
AI and Bitcoin mining are competing for the same scarce asset:
energized power.
Miners already have the interconnects.
AI/HPC is paying more for them.
Once a MW earns more on a 10–15 year AI lease than it does hashing BTC, the decision stops being ideological.
Bitcoin can survive a lower hashrate.
Difficulty adjusts.
The harder question:
what happens when the infrastructure that secures Proof-of-Work is revalued by a buyer that doesn’t care about Bitcoin?
AI isn’t attacking the chain.
It’s outbidding the miners who keep it expensive to attack.
Not AI vs blockchain.
AI vs Bitcoin — for electricity.
