Ben Affleck says Skydance CEO David Ellison seems “absolutely committed” to releasing 30 Paramount/Warner Bros. movies a year:
“I think people are worried, appropriately, about the Fox-Disney [effect]. Fox sort of went away. What people want is more production, more work and a diversity of offering. Audiences don’t want to see the same thing over and over again.
[Paramount] has been clear about their plan to release 30 movies, and that would be amazing. It’s critical for everyone to keep robust production volume. The real shame would be if we essentially lost one of those two studios.”
