These woke student Brownshirts in the U.S. engaged in their celebrations and harassment and attacks on American Jews by falsely posing as "protests" with their Big Lie that they are only "antizionists" (using the original Soviet propaganda term from the 1960s justifying its own antisemitic domestic and foreign policies). The woke students and professors who have for years been delcaring that "words are violence" have been arguing for the past three years their violence is only words and thus protected as "free speech." I was quadruply shocked to see the media become willing megaphones for these pro-Hamas activists, blithely repeating their Goebbels-level Big Lies and propaganda. The media continued to carry water for these pro-Hamas activists even as the facts became undeniable of the harassment, attacks, vandalism, and even the first murder of an American Jew by a pro-Hamas activist in Los Angeles in November 2023 (the first of more murders of Jews by these "Free Palestine" activists in the U.S. over the next couple years). The media even peddled explicit Hamas propaganda about the October 7th War in Gaza, including the NY Times publishing on its frontpage a manipulated photo and all media outlets repeating without question every false claim of civilian deaths or accusation against the IDF by the Hamas Health Ministry in Gaza. I was even more shocked to see "democratic socialists" (cum "national socialists") who openly embrace antisemitism drive the Democratic Party to embrace antisemitism as a de facto party plank with President Biden repeating Hamas propaganda and with party leaders like Warren, Sanders, Van Hollen, Murphy, AOC, Tlaib, Khanna, and many others peddle Hamas propaganda, openly embrace and support woke Brownshirts like Mahmoud Khalil, and ultimately go so far as to nominate a candidate with an actual Nazi SS tattoo (that he proudly wore for two decades), a candidate in New Jersey who is an actual supporter of Jew-hating terrorists, as well other openly antisemitic, terrorist-excusing candidates like NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Abdul El-Sayad, and others. There are some brave Democrats who have taken a stand against this embrace of Jew-hating bigotry, but the official and ideological leaders of the Democratic Party have returned the party back to its historical, collectivist roots as the party of the KKK.
