The NYPD has announced that the illegal aliens wanted for slashing an off-duty detective during a botched robbery in the Bronx have been arrested while hiding in a basement in Massachusetts. D’Angelo Caraballo, 25, and Sneider Mejia, 24, both from the Dominican Republic, were found by the US Marshals Service hiding in a basement of a home in Lynn and taken into custody overnight. They will be brought back to New York City to face attempted murder charges, the department said. Both men entered the United States illegally and were released into the country during the Biden administration.
