Candace Owens told Myron Gaines in January that people from Harvey Weinstein’s "team reached out to me" and approached her to cover his story.
That’s not to say she was the alleged podcaster whom Weinstein reportedly offered $1.75 million.
But she was certainly one of the most high-profile podcasters repeatedly arguing for his innocence and portraying him as the victim of an unfounded conspiracy.

'I cover cases I’m interested in for free' is not a rebuttal to alleged tapes. It doesn’t make the recordings disappear. It doesn’t explain why Candace Owens' content is the only public match for the scheme prosecutors described.
She didn’t just deny taking money.
She denied ever being offered it.
So, there are only three possibilities:
- The recordings don’t exist.
- They exist but don’t say what prosecutors claimed.
- They name someone else who somehow never did the interviews.
One of those things has to be true.
So the question is simple: where are the receipts?

🚨BREAKING: Manhattan prosecutors say they have jailhouse recordings of Harvey Weinstein offering an unnamed podcaster $1.75 MILLION to release videos intended to “taint the jury pool.”
They did not say who the podcaster was or whether anyone accepted.
Candace Owens is the only podcaster I can find who interviewed Weinstein from Rikers.
In 2025 she produced "Harvey Speaks," a series questioning the credibility of his accusers, including Miriam Haley.
Weinstein was convicted of sexually assaulting Haley and sentenced to 15 years today.
Haley told the court she had been smeared by podcasters she suspected were paid to damage her reputation.
The NY Post says Candace did not respond to its request for comment.
