The 4yr cycle has held up surprisingly well (timing-wise) which, using historical data, puts that timing right around Oct-Nov. However, since the structure is changing it's entirely possible the bottom is already in, but statistically unlikely. Either way, bull incoming soon.

On second thought, a fee-aware jitter buffer could be applied so it could work but with a delay.

Just to be clear, video streaming on kaspa:native isn't really viable, but users could stream to YouTube or wherever and it could be chunking it and sending to kaspa:native as a backup. Costs ~2,147 kaspa:native for 1GiB.

Institutional power operates behind closed doors w/0 accountability. Whether 20/60 yrs old if you rely on a paycheck/fixed income, you're getting squeezed by same financial incentives. Shifting blame onto our neighbors keeps us from demanding transparency & real economic reform.

kaspa:native generalized Nakamoto Consensus taking the core of $BTC and evolving it. "Calm reminder that a coin can be VC funded AND fair launched": nitter.net/DesheShai/status/16808… There is no other crypto as closely aligned with $BTC as kaspa:native is.
Calm reminder that a coin can be VC funded AND fair launched, and that literally EVERYBODY in the $kas community is aware of the Polychain seed investment, which was transparent from the start (ffs it was announced in press releases 6 months before mainnet launch, it is clearly stated in the wiki, I personally reiterated this in interviews, what more do you want? A Mariacci band informing you of DAGlab's investors in a singing telegram?). For the 1000th time: that Kaspa is fairly launched means there was no premine, ICO, speedmine or any other form of pre-allocation or any other kind of SAFT between DAGlabs and any other entity. This does not contradict the fact that there were investors who decided to invest in the project. When DAGlabs shut down (*after* mainnet was launched) the remaining budget was used for mining, we mined a little short of 800MKas, half of which was given to the investors and the other half was divided among DAGlabs employees. If you are so shocked to find out that a. a VC can find an investment into a fairly launched project profitable, and b. developers of fairly launched projects also want food in their fridge and a roof over their head, you probably shouldn't be meddling with finances in the first place.

I used to mine ergo:native and I still check in on it every once in a while, but it does not evolve Nakamoto Consensus, nor does it share ALL the same ethos as $BTC like kaspa:native does.

Interesting, I was going a different route so players wouldn't have to trust a privileged server/oracle. My approach uses a custom ZK engine with just 4 predicates: kodinglsfun.substack.com/p/q… & decentralized network anchored to $KAS w/no central authority: kodinglsfun.substack.com/p/t…

The security review & the 2.0 refactor represent a very substantial amount of work, which I offered freely because it materially strengthens the project & significantly reduces UX friction. User's funds always 1st. Verify don't trust. Wishing you & @KasSigner the best.

To understand why you need better money, you first have to see the flaws in what you're saving today. Trust in men vs. trust in math. We're taught to trust a system that closes on weekends and loses value by design. $Kaspa fixes the foundation.

I like to focus on file/folder structure 1st, then LOC, then CC/CRAP which brings in test coverage, then I remove any dead/duplicate code. Then I move to mutation testing to ensure the tests are actually meaningful. Then I finally test myself to ensure AI isn't hallucinating.

AFAIK, this is already possible and you just need other wallets to implement KasSigner as a hw signer, but an explicit API could help with that or even just a really good document for wallet integration.

Physical dice offer great entropy, but Gemini noted these aren't casino-grade dice. Lacking casino precision, flaws like weight/edges drop per-roll entropy below the max 2.585 bits, lowering expected randomness. If rolled < 100x it could be < 128bits & thus crack-able

I didn't know flashing firmware degraded the chip. I also didn't know that persisting storage was using the chip thus causing wear & tare. However, it still seems perfectly fine so long as user doesn't abuse flashing & dev doesn't write to storage in an inefficient way.

I've added an anti-klepto protocol to @KasSigner & hardware rooted secure boot w/ attestation for stronger signer integrity. If the firmware isn’t genuine, attestation fails, & the KasSee web app can flag it. For extreme paranoia: use an offline PC to verify before submitting

A secure element only helps if your device must connect to another device or attacker steals it. Use ledger for everyday/UX & this for cold storage? Using OS ESP32 devices you could just wipe the private key after each use & achieve the same goal. Less convenient but same effect

I'm going to pull that into the KasSigner repo because there is a lot of duplication that can be solved by using the refactored shared code & will prevent drift. I've got 10-20 days until the core3 I ordered arrives. Then I can test hw code, but I don't have ios will need testers

Added kpub management, I'm lazy & don't want to keep entering it in. Also removed the blocking "connecting..." overlay when reconnecting for smoother UX. Still hammering out some cyclomatic complexities, but then I'll work on a concise packet for bridging gap for PR @KasSigner

There's a low chance someone who either DCAs over the next few months or simply HODLs through the same period ends up not profitable on a multi-year horizon. I'll take those odds, even though I only hold $KAS/ecosystem coins. When $BTC rises it usually takes utility alts with it

You can absolutely have true self‑custody. The dangerous part isn’t storing keys, it’s signing transactions. To prevent address‑swap attacks, you need a signing device w/ independent screen like hardware wallets & air‑gapped QR signers Open‑source HW has no secure element yet
