Gabriel Odusanya is a 21 year old cybersecurity professional. Founder of OffShield Security (@offshield_ai ) . Application security engineer. Educator. The work is offensive-driven application and product security, and training people who are just getting into the field. He has trained over 300 students on how to actually start in cybersecurity. He trained the 20 students who recently graduated from the fully funded scholarship at TechAccess Foundation(@Techaccessfound ) . He is the cybersecurity facilitator at Grazac Academy (@grazacng ) and also owns a YouTube channel focused on application security for beginners. He has worked inside organizations as a security engineer and as CTO, securing their infrastructure, not writing theory. At API Shield Summit 1.0 he won the cybersecurity quiz and the hackathon. That gave him three API security vouchers: ACP, CASA, and ASCP. He is CASA and ACP certified. He is waiting on the ASCP result. He does security research. In 1 year 9 months he has built a name off output, not job titles. This is what Gabriel Odusanya wants the world to know and see. A 21-year-old from this side of the map who did not wait for a senior role before teaching, testing, and shipping. Someone who puts beginners into AppSec with their hands on real applications. 20-year-old Cybersecurity graduate from Nigeria. 🎓 My interests sit around Cloud Security, DevSecOps, AI Security, threat intelligence, defensive security and cloud-native systems. Over the past few years, I’ve earned certifications including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft SC-200, ISC2 CC and the Google Cybersecurity Certificate, alongside multiple internships and hands-on security projects. My final-year thesis focused on securing cloud-based LLM applications. I developed a risk assessment model, tested 35 attack scenarios across LLM, RAG, cloud infrastructure and application layers, and developed 14 hardening controls. I’m now looking to take things further through a fully funded Master’s, scholarships, fellowships, and meaningful opportunities in cybersecurity. The kid who had always found school easy suddenly had to question himself. I set out to become a 4-pointer and eventually did. Then somehow, university became certifications, multiple internships, projects, late nights, and a leadership journey that took me from the Faculty SRC to becoming NACSS’ pioneer President. I tried to make NACSS bigger than just UNIOSUN too, spearheading the first attempt at connecting cybersecurity students across institutions for knowledge sharing and collaboration. Four years later, there’s a lot to look back on. Grateful for everyone who stood by me through it all. Goodbye, UNIOSUN. ❤️🎓
