And, most importantly, Heather's an amazing writer who crafted a damn masterpiece of a book. I can't wait until it's finally released and y'all can all begin to bask in its brilliance like I was lucky enough to do during her editing process.
I fully embraced the chaotic nature of redneck culture, drug abuse, unemployment, & poverty in this story: it is spiritually a Waffle House, & doesn't pretend to be, nor needs to be, anything otherwise. But, much like a 3am fight in WH, it does have its own charm. Dont look away
