JLR has no probation. No supervision. NOTHING. He was ordered to pay a $270 fine. That's it. And now the truth is finally going to come out. SHE LIED. That video I've been talking about all this time? The same video so many of you dismissed? It directly contradicts her story, and now people are going to have some serious explaining to do. So many of you couldn't wait to jump on that bandwagon. You didn't want evidence. You didn't want facts. You damn sure didn't want to wait for the courts. You heard an accusation, decided it was the truth, and appointed yourselves judge, jury, and executioner. And because JLR wasn't running his mouth defending himself on the internet, you took his silence as an admission of guilt. Since when the hell did keeping your mouth shut become proof of a crime? You people went out of your way to destroy this man's reputation, his livelihood, and his character. And not once did some of you stop to consider that there might be another side to this story. Not once did you question her credibility or consider whether personal resentment could have played a role. JLR may be a lot of things. You don't have to like him. You don't have to agree with him. But I have seen the evidence, and I do not believe he beat this woman. And to those who went beyond expressing an opinion and started spreading damaging accusations as established facts, don't assume there won't be consequences. You were awfully comfortable demanding accountability when you thought it was his turn. Let's see how comfortable you are when that same accountability comes knocking on your door.
