1950s - 80s ➢ Rule based AI
where computers followed instructions humans explicitly programmed
1990s - 2010s ➢Machine learning came in
instead of coding every rule, we started letting machines learn patterns from data
2010s came along Deep Learning
here, AI is much better at seeing, hearing and understanding
2020s ➢ Generative AI
AI learned to generate text, images, code, audio and a lot more
now we have AI agents
AI is moving beyond answering questions towards using tools, making decisions and completing tasks
it’s crazy to see how far Artificial Intelligence has evolved
but what next?
