🚨DEAR GOD!!! A 76-year-old White woman has just been BEATEN TO DE*TH by a BLACK MALE who has an arrest record going back MORE THAN A DECADE... He punched her in the face OVER AND OVER and then robbed her and her husband who were out for a morning walk. Her name was Claudia Bismark, she was 76 years old. She and Wade Wilson, 60, were married in 1997. They had lived in Fells Point for more than 35 years and turned a century-old rowhouse into an art gallery with the door wide open to the neighborhood. At Vikki's Deli, she and Wade were known for RANDOMLY PAYING FOR STRANGERS' BREAKFASTS. They were known for saying: "Don't ring them up. I got the breakfast." All the time. On September 29th, they finished breakfast at Broadway Market like they had for years. Their waitress says a man walked past, looked them over, sat down at a table and watched them... and the second they left, he left too. At 9:30 in the morning, in the 1700 block of Fleet Street, surveillance video shows him come up behind them and shove them both to the ground. Claudia sat up. He punched her over and over in the face. Then he turned around, pulled Wade's wallet out of his pocket, and ran. In her friend Tammy's words: "She hit the ground, and she didn't wake up, she grabbed Wade's hand. She just never woke up from it." Two days later, on October 1st, Claudia passed away. Over a wallet. Oh, and it wasn't the police who found him. The NEIGHBORS did... walking Fells Point with printouts of the surveillance photo until somebody finally pulled them aside and said, "I actually know who that guy is. His first name is Tray." Police then arrested 32-year-old Montray McCray on South Carrollton Avenue and charged him with homicide, assault, robbery and reckless endangerment. His arrest history goes back MORE THAN TEN YEARS. Gun charges. Drug charges. Her friend Keya Little said: "There's no reason that a violent criminal should be given probation or three to four months in prison and they are repeatedly out here causing trauma to people." In March 2024, a caregiver named Sarah Smalls started coming to the house through Griswold Home Care. Within WEEKS, Bob was moved into a senior living facility. By April, Smalls had power of attorney. On April 17th, a quitclaim deed transferred Bob's home to Smalls. ...for FIVE DOLLARS!!!!!!!! The notary on the deed? Her SISTER. Then, police say, she started draining his accounts. More than $17,000 in cash withdrawals. Transfers to her Cash App. Money kept moving even after he was NO LONGER LIVING!!!!!!! In May, she allegedly lied on federal housing forms, swearing she had no assets, no real estate, no cash... while sitting on a FREE HOUSE!!!!!! Nora stopped hearing from her dad. Father's Day came and went. Silence. So she got in the car and drove from Maryland. New locks on the front door. A Ring camera that hadn't been there before. She pressed the button. Smalls answered through the speaker. "This isn't the way that I wanted to tell you, but your dad is de*d, and there's a bunch of other stuff I have to tell you too. Just wait there." Nora is STILL in civil court fighting to get her father's house back.
