Rootstock’s DevPortal is now Grade A+ for AI agent readiness, scoring 100/100 on @buildwithfern's Agent Score 🎉 The work makes Rootstock docs easier for AI coding agents and LLM tools to discover, retrieve and consume, while preserving the experience for human developers. 🔗 buildwithfern.com/agent-scor… Getting to 100 is not the end of the work. The next challenge is keeping that baseline from drifting as new pages, components and changes are introduced.

Most ecosystem grants end when the funding goes out. @RootstockColl is trying to make that the starting point. It connects grants, ongoing builder rewards and community governance into one system for projects building on Rootstock. More in the thread 🧵👇

The @RootstockLabs team is in HK next week 👇
Next stop: Hong Kong. 🇭🇰 RootstockLabs will be at @Bitcoinconfasia on August 27–28, joining more than 10,000 attendees from 125+ countries for two days focused on where Bitcoin goes next. This year’s event has a strong institutional focus, bringing together asset managers, allocators, banks, CFOs and treasurers to discuss treasury strategy, capital markets, custody, governance and financing. It comes as the institutional use case for Bitcoin itself is getting broader. Institutions are increasingly exploring what else Bitcoin can do within their financial operations: using Bitcoin as collateral to access liquidity, building payment and settlement infrastructure around Bitcoin, and creating programmable financial products secured by $BTC. That shift is central to what RootstockLabs has been building for. We’ll be part of that conversation on stage too. On August 27, Tony Dicarlo will join a panel on “Structured and Tokenized Bitcoin Products for Institutional Allocators”, alongside speakers from Pando Finance and Barclays.

The slightly strange answer: The BTC never leaves Bitcoin. It gets locked on Bitcoin, while its equivalent becomes usable on Rootstock, as collateral, in lending, swaps and other smart-contract applications. Here’s what actually happens. 🧵👇

"AI is going to be a tailwind for Bitcoin" As Bitcoin miners expand into AI and high-performance computing, access to capital becomes increasingly important. Some are now borrowing against their $BTC to fund that transition without selling the asset at the centre of their business. Hesab selected Movement as its exclusive stablecoin settlement layer for cross-border flows. $160M in monthly volume. 1 million+ transactions per month. The corridors they serve run on informal cash networks with 2-5 day settlement and capital sitting idle in pre-funded float. Movement provides access to licensed rails across the US, Canada, and the EU. Same remittance, cleared in real-time.

Fact: Bitcoin has been declared dead 475 times. (Source: bitcoindeaths.com/. Credit to @jerryfeng) Many of those obituaries appeared during major drawdowns, when falling prices were treated as proof that Bitcoin would never recover. The market may be down. The network is still producing blocks, settling transactions, and operating as designed. Bitcoin has heard this one before.

Security for Bitcoin’s financial infrastructure can’t be reduced to a logo, a claim, or a roadmap. It comes down to what secures the network, how long it has been tested, and what happens when real capital moves through it. Rootstock’s answer is layered 🧵👇

DFNS is now live on Movement!! DFNS is core banking platform for digital assets, provides Wallet-as-a-Service, custody, payments, and tokenization. Why does it matter? In order to bring stablecoins to existing fintech apps, you need to provide institutional grade wallet security and functionality on the backend. Movement, with DFNS, can now bring a full backend stack to hundreds of millions of users, through the fintech providers they are already using. I can’t overstate the significance of this integrations. Just keep Moving.
DFNS now supports Movement. We're excited to announce this complete Tier 1 integration that enables any of the 400 institutional clients working with DFNS (@DFNSHQ) across 60-plus networks to fund wallets, move assets, execute smart contracts, and more on Movement.

One has been running since 2018. Since then: • 100% uptime • No protocol-level hacks • Over 20 million transactions processed on-chain • Currently, making up 43% of total Bitcoin DeFI TV Rootstock is secured by Bitcoin miners through merge mining, with over 84% of Bitcoin’s hashrate helping protect the network. Not every Bitcoin layer is experimental. Some have been quietly working for years.

BIG NEWS A stablecoin backed by a single asset can only scale so far. RIF On Chain V3 changes that. USDRIF can now be issued against both $RIF and DOC. RIF drives growth and absorbs volatility. DOC, a Bitcoin-backed stablecoin, adds stability and capital efficiency. Two collateral sources. One fungible USDRIF supply. The upgrade is non-disruptive: no migration, no manual action, funds stay fully accessible throughout. Multi-collateral USDRIF, built natively on @rootstock_io.
