The idea that you synthesized the entire concept yourself is ungrateful. I’d even argue that not recognizing that is an even deeper level of the “exploitation” you’re accusing.
Im not arguing the ability to be able to “draw”. Just that AI obviously learns from people and you did too. If AI “exploited” artists without explicit consent then so did you. Your own definition of exploitation targets yourself.
So we going to ignore that most of our labor was collected and used to train these diffusion models? Which wouldn't be as good as they are now without our exploited labor.

Dev finds out some AI assets were used by their human development team.
They apologize wholeheartedly and the comments are full of Ai antis shitting on them, not accepting the apology.
Lmao that’s the crowd you’re bending the knee to. They don’t care about you and they have no grace. You play their stupid game, you lose, simple as.
A number of people have raised questions or concerns to us about whether assets in our marketing and game use generative AI.
We have a dedicated team of over a dozen talented and experienced artists. With them, we looked into the assets in question and found that there were indeed some early versions of assets that made their way into the the prologue. This includes some in-game portraits and external marketing assets.
We are actively reviewing the assets in question. Human made versions will be released in an update dropping soon.
We own up to this oversight and apologize for any upset caused. Please be assured that the Early Access and full game will not include any assets generated by AI.

I’m 20 hours in on a Mushoku Tensei RPG. I’m just so invested in the game in a way that’s hard to describe.
It’s like playing TTRPG in any setting you want, whenever you want and the DM never sleeps.
