Mitch Manley Jr (
@ArtifexMemor) claimed that Candace connected dots that โliterally donโt exist.โ
Those dots are in Maricopa PB2024-004796, Charlie Stricklandโs Petition for Declaratory Judgment, filed December 6, 2024.
The petition names the caregiver, Mitch Manley, and his son, also Mitch Manley. Paragraph 14 names the father as a beneficiary under Altonโs will and a discretionary beneficiary under the Seventh and Eighth Amendments.
Paragraph 18 alleges that by 2020, or earlier, Alton, by then well into his 90s, was in decline: falls, mini-strokes, confusion, and increasing paranoia.
Paragraph 19 alleges he hired Manley as caregiver in or after 2021.
Paragraph 20 alleges the son had been employed by Turning Point as a media producer.
Paragraph 21 alleges the father shares that affiliation. โI was hired way before he met Altonโ does not answer that. The introduction already says the employment ran before and after the death.
Paragraph 17 alleges that the Fourth through Seventh Amendments designated Charlieโs Trust as sole residuary beneficiary.
The Eighth Amendment, dated November 6, 2023, removed him.
Paragraph 27 alleges that instrument named Turning Point Action USA (โTurning Pointโ) and Young Americaโs Foundation (โYAFโ), each to one-half of a residual estate valued at approximately $25 million.
That is four months before the death.
Paragraph 23 alleges that once under Manleyโs care, Alton became increasingly isolated, began refusing visits, and rarely responded to calls or messages.
Paragraph 24 quotes texts from Altonโs phone to his daughter Jane: โeverything is difficult for me at this time, please do not call,โ โI simply cannot speak to you at this time,โ and โplease donโt ask me any questions at this time.โ
Paragraph 25 alleges Manley may have written them, controlled access and communication, and did not tell the family when Alton was placed in hospice.
Alton died March 29, 2024. Paragraph 30 alleges that after the death, Turning Point hired the son again, as producer on the โYouโre Being Brainwashedโ Tour.
Candace did not invent the names, the organizations, or the $25 million figure. She reported a petition that was already on file.
