"This country is already under pressure from forces that want it weaker." Unfortunately, Kaity, at best, falls into the category of "useful idiot" with this post. One of the problems with social media, and X in particular, is that any barking seal may be amplified by foreign or domestic adversaries.
First, I can personally attest to
@dbongino's willingness to admit when he's wrong. His "ego" doesn't prevent him from analyzing and incorporating new, vetted information which allows him, like any thinking person, to course correct in pursuit of the truth. So, on this point, Kaity is profoundly wrong. You'd think a "friend" of Bongino would know this about him.
Second, Steve Jensen is an honorable man who was smeared by a slimy toad during congressional hearings, alleging he used profanity during a conference call involving "thousands" of people to include senior government officials. Anyone who knows Mr. Jensen can attest to the FACT that he is not known to ever use profanity, and that he's a devout christian.
Nor has a single person (out of the "thousand" on the call) ever come forward to corroborate the smear. Moreover, I cannot imagine any senior FBI Agent using profanity during a conference call involving other federal and state partners and senior FBI leadership. Additionally, Mr. Jensen was not in the position at FBI HQ to influence J6th investigations in the way alleged. Anyone who says otherwise is an idiot, having no understanding of FBI HQ structure, authorities, or chain of command. Again Kaity's opinion is factually wrong.
Third, Kaity's reference to the J5 pipe bomb investigation and indictment of Brian Cole, Jr. reveals how she's been influenced by Flynn information ops. Every shred of evidence points to Brian Cole, Jr. as the J5 pipe bomber -- to include his confession. “I don’t know how many times I wanted to turn myself in ... So, so many times." And the pathetic attempt to discredit the confession fails on its face -- Elon Musk is on the spectrum and convicted murderer Bryan Kohberger is on the autism spectrum, as are many, many highly functional people. It's a silly argument, one raised by his defense team only after Cole's arrest and never before by his parents. The only application is in the "court of public opinion" for which it was specifically designed.
Through the J5 pipe bomber narrative, Flynn and his simps have created a wedge issue by which to attack Trump via proxy (Patel and DOJ). They don't care about Cole, the investigation, or prosecution. Cole is a pawn in their deeply cynical campaign for political power. Worse, the J5 agitprop is being amplified by foreign and domestic adversaries -- think MSS, SVR, MOIS -- to discredit institutions headed by Trump officials. And lemmings like Kaity are playing right into their hands.
Finally, to assert/imply that Bongino (and Patel) have no record of accomplishment and were thwarted by deep state FBI employees is on its face absolutely stupid. I'm not going to get into all the historic FBI stats accomplished by
@FBIDirectorKash and the good men and women of the FBI. However, violent crime rates have plummeted to historic lows. Record numbers of documents have been provided to congress in a sweeping transparency effort. And, eleven thousand missing/exploited children have been recovered. For much more, just check out
@FBI_Response.
The attempt to undermine this work is nothing short of evil.
I once considered Dan Bongino a friend. I stayed silent for a long time out of that respect. I gave him the courtesy of telling him privately that I was going to speak, so what you are seeing now is not an ambush.
What you are watching is a bruised ego going to war with anyone who will not agree with him, then trying to discredit them so he never has to answer the disagreement.
Dan walked into the FBI thinking he was going to change the world. The FBI does not change overnight. It is full of snakes, rot, and bureaucrats who will never hand over control.
We learned that early, when Dan and Kash put their trust in Steve Jensen. People warned them in public, I warned him privately. Dan was adamant he knew what he was doing. History proved that was the wrong call.
Many times Dan promised things would happen by certain dates that came and went with nothing happening and I’m sure he too was disappointed that the accountability he expected would come never did.
Then we all watched the Epstein interview. Dan and Kash looked broken. Whatever was left of the old Dan wanted to fight the system. The system does what it always does. It chews people up.
He has yet to tell the full truth about what happened there.
Then came the pipe bomber case. That was Dan’s one “big win” inside the Bureau based on the promises he made going in. The public can now see the inconsistencies that we know Dan was smart enough to see on his own. Even if he turns out to be wrong, his ego will not let him say it. So instead of answering the questions, he goes after anyone who asks them, including General Flynn.
I hated watching the crash out. I disagreed with him in private for a long time. I even gave him a heads up that I would not stay quiet anymore, because none of what he is defending makes sense.
This country is already under pressure from forces that want it weaker. Protecting the system, and your own ego, ahead of the good of the nation does real damage to where we go from here. I am saying this knowing it puts me on his warpath. I have stayed off the sideline fights that look like distractions. I have also always said I would tell the truth where it actually matters. This is one of those times.
