In an interview with CNBC, Perdue said Trump asked Xi to stop assisting Iran.
“There’s been indirect support we think, but there’s no direct evidence. We’re very concerned about this indirect work and we’ve made that very clear,” Perdue said.

UPDATE: The telecom lines have been repaired, and all airport operations in the Northeast are resuming.
It will take some time to clear all existing delays, so please check with your airline for the latest information.
UPDATE: An Amtrak construction crew accidentally cut into a fiber line in New Jersey which caused a telecom outage and forced FAA to pause flights in the Northeast.
Right now:
- Flights are resuming at LGA and PHL
- Flights into EWR, JFK, and Teterboro Airport are paused
This incident underscores the need for additional funding to modernize aging infrastructure and prevent disruptions like this in the future.
