I got pulled from the Original Content Program. That’s the part a lot of you saw. Here’s the part most of you didn’t. I’ve been in family court for three years. Three years of filings, hearings, lawyers, and the kind of fight you don’t walk away from if you actually give a damn about your kid. That program was paying the attorney. Not a vacation. Not a car. Not clout. The lawyer. So when it got taken, yeah, I’m upset but easy come, easy go. I never expected to get paid for posting pictures of gorillas and recycled internet jokes. But I also wasn’t going to leave money on the table while a court was deciding what my child’s life looks like. I copy posts. I’ve never hidden that. Memes were built to travel. That’s the whole point. You don’t own a format, a punchline, or a screenshot of something that already lived ten lives before it hit your timeline. I don’t scrape accounts on X and slap my name on them like I’m running a content farm. I pull from the wider internet the same way everybody else does, then I put my name, my voice, and my energy on it. The only time people suddenly care about “originality” is when a bigger account blows up and the smaller ones decide that’s the reason they stayed small. I didn’t grow this page by sitting in a corner posting the same six templates all day and waiting for the algorithm to feel generous. I grew it because I talk to people. I argue. I clown. I stay in the comments. I built an audience the old way: by being present and a little too much. That’s not a loophole. That’s work. Some folks think you can just post other people’s memes and wake up famous. You can’t. The interaction is the product. The page is the product. The memes are just the bait. If you found a way to turn the thing you’re already good at into rent, groceries, or a lawyer who will actually show up for your kid, you would do it. Don’t lie. Most of you would. You’d gamify the rules, learn the system, and squeeze every dollar out of it until it dried up. That’s not villain behavior. That’s a parent who refuses to lose or give up on their child. So yeah. The money stopped. The posts might get weirder. I’m not going to pretend I’m above it or that I’m some tortured artist who only ever posted original thoughts from a mountaintop. I used what I had. I used what worked. And I used it for the only thing that actually mattered in the last three years. If that bothers you more than a father trying to stay in his kid’s life, that’s a you problem. So yeah, easy come, easy go. No regrets. My fight isn’t over.
