Deb Haaland’s campaign says it is done negotiating a governor debate with Republican Gregg Hull before November 3. Hull says he will still show up for KOB’s October 8 event. Haaland says she will not. If you want the top job in a one-party-leaning state, you should be able to defend your record on live TV. Ending the talks does not scream confidence. You can refuse blind trust. But never confuse distrust with surrender. Washington called liberty a sacred fire. Lincoln called our duty unfinished work. Kennedy told us not to shrink from responsibility. Now the torch is in our hands. Maybe this is our moment. Maybe history is looking at us right now and asking the same question it asked every generation before us: Will you carry it forward? I know my answer. I will not quit on America. Rest In Peace Jim Copenhaver On July 13, 2024, Jim went to Butler to hear President Trump speak. A left-wing psycho opened fire on the President and struck multiple supporters in the crowd. Corey Comperatore was killed. Trump was hit in the ear. Jim was shot twice once in the arm, once in the abdomen. He fought for two years after that day. Multiple surgeries. Permanent injuries. Bullet fragments still in his body. Left-wing violence has very real and deadly consequences. This evil must be rejected. Pray for Jim’s family 🙏🏻

There's a debate. Tune in on Tuesday, October 13 on KOAT. 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. I asked Representative Stansbury for two debates before early voting starts October 6. A general debate, and one hour just on healthcare. What we got is one general debate after people can already vote. I’m glad she’s coming. A lot of incumbents in this state won’t even do that. But healthcare still needs its own night, and it needs to happen before October 6. I have spent almost twenty years as a pharmacist watching New Mexicans decide if they can afford their medication. She has spent five years voting on those same issues. Voters should hear both of us on that before they start filling out ballots, not after. Tune in October 13. Then tell her to stop campaigning against Donald Trump and start defending her record against the pharmacist actually on the ballot.
