Her Imagination Library started in Grant County in 2010 with just 8 children. Today it reaches more than 32,000 kids in all 33 counties, with nearly 2 million free books delivered to every zip code in our state. In homes that get her books, daily reading nearly doubled. ‼️🚨BREAKING! 🚨‼️ Once again SCOTUS has failed the American people—today with a dangerous ruling which could be used to purge voter rolls and sew confusion, even as early voting has already begun in states. We’ve seen this move by this President and his allies over and over again: Create fear around our elections, make voters think elections are unsafe, and then use the federal government to try take control. This November, we must vote like our democracy depends on it. Because, it does.

The law is clear! Federal law prohibits armed troops at polling places, interference, and using government power to undermine our elections. We will not be intimidated. Know your rights! Make a plan. We must protect the right to vote. 🗳️

Over the last year— over 5 million people, mostly seniors and kids have lost access to food assistance because of the cruel and inhumane policies of this Administration and their allies in Congress. How do we reverse the damage? ⬇️

The American people are struggling to put food on the table and a roof over their head. That’s why we’re fighting for the hard-working people of this country! Our duty next Congress is plain and simple. It is time to end the corruption, lower costs, care for our communities, and get justice for survivors.

This is inhumane and must be stopped.  An innocent man was delivering food. He had no criminal record, yet an ICE officer shot him simply because he fit their category.  We will not stand by and watch ICE threaten the lives of innocent people. In New Mexico, 1 in 5 children face food insecurity while our state exports over 90% of our agricultural products and imports over 90% of our food.   If we’re serious about fixing hunger and getting food from our farmer to hungry families, we have to fix our broken food system.

Trump’s arch is a vanity project. Not a national security project. His claims are not only absurd, but they are a direct affront to the veterans who have proudly served this country and the hallowed ground of Arlington National Cemetery. ⬇️

How ironic is it that the GOP was considering a bill to protect and expand Big Bend National Park last week, at the same time they are refusing to check the President from building a border wall right through the middle of it? This isn’t about safety or national security—it’s destruction without a plan, like his other projects. No respect for the law, no respect for Tribal sovereignty or our communities, and no respect for the wildlife and ecosystems that live there. Hell no! We're fighting to protect our public lands and communities!
