Elon Musk and SpaceX have supported Ukraine from the beginning, and this clip explains just how much that support mattered. Starlink became the communications backbone of Ukraine’s government and essential services, including first responders. When Russia jammed everything else on the frontline, Starlink was the only system still working. Not just one of the options. The only thing that worked. At the time of this interview, Elon put SpaceX’s support costs at roughly $100 million. That figure did not include the enormous risk to the entire Starlink constellation. Russian anti-satellite weapons could threaten the whole system. Elon Musk put the Starlink constellation on the line to help Ukraine. Think about that.

Walter Isaacson in a new interview explains what makes Elon Musk a great engineer:
“A fierce intensity & urgency, and that comes from loving manufacturing. He has a pretty good fingertip feel for material science. He can take science fiction & just try to turn it into science.”

Tomorrow's Tesla Roadster reveal is something far bigger than just making a faster car Elon Musk has already said Tesla and SpaceX are working together on it “Some things that I have said publicly is that it'll do zero to 60 in under one second. So that's by far faster than any sports car that exists. And that's not even the most exciting thing about it” “The only way to do something cooler than the Cybertruck is to make something that's not even really a car” Don Lemon: “A flying car?” Elon: “Maybe. It's not out of the question” Tesla + SpaceX technology in one Roadster This reveal is going to be wild

In Texas, James Talarico says he wants to “dismantle capitalism.” He means it. The head of the Democrat Socialists of America said their objective is to make sure there are no millionaires. That means every small business, every farmer, every rancher, everyone who owns an institution that employs more than a dozen people. These lunatics want to bankrupt them all.

This is the most exciting time at NASA since the Kennedy era. @POTUS has given us the mission: return to the Moon, build the Moon Base, pioneer nuclear spaceflight, advance extraordinary science, and win the new space race. It was great to see so many of those builders, scientists, and technologists recognized at the Golden Age of Science summit this week. The President recognizes that American leadership requires taking on the big, bold endeavors that define American exceptionalism and empower the people with the talent and determination to turn those ambitious objectives into reality.
