I’ll always give Republicans credit when they’re willing to speak honestly about Trump. But this all rings a little hollow when you wait until you’re retiring and Trump is deeply unpopular to say what was plainly obvious two years ago.
These words would’ve carried a lot more weight when there was actually something at stake for him.

When Thomas Massie said it, $30 million was spent to punish him for it, and they just watched from a safe distance.
Now they’re campaigning on lowering costs. “Trust me bro” ads everywhere.
You will never vote your way out of this.
The only time they care for you is when it’s time to vote, when they need a donation, and when they need to tax you.
