TCEU Local 416 members have elected Domenic Maugeri as their new president. Maugeri brings more than fifteen years of dedicated service to the city of Toronto and Local 416’s members, advocacy on behalf of workers and leadership to the role, having previously served as Secretary-Treasurer.   Maugeri succeeds Eddie Mariconda who retired after 30 years of service to Toronto workers, more than ten years of which he served as president of the local.  TCEU Local 416 extends sincere thanks to Eddie for his decade of leadership and hard work improving conditions for our members.   #ForwardTogether #StrongerTogether #Local416

TCEU Local 416 was proud to host Fore Kids in the Six today at Humber Valley Golf Course, giving 35 young people from the community the opportunity to learn new golf skills, have fun, challenge themselves — and hopefully fall in love with the game of golf! The clinic gave kids hands-on instruction, followed by a skills challenge where participants put what they learned to the test with prizes up for grabs! The day was about much more than golf. The kids also enjoyed lunch and received backpacks filled with school supplies to help them get ready for the school year ahead. We were pleased to be joined by Councillor Vincent Crisanti @vcrisanti and thank him for supporting this great community initiative.
