The United States was breaking its own rules long before anyone started talking about a “rules-based order.” Take the Nuremberg Code. Born from the 1947 trial of Nazi doctors, its first principle could hardly have been clearer: Voluntary consent is essential. Yet within a few years, U.S. intelligence was pursuing its own secret experiments in drugs, interrogation and behavior control - including experiments on people who had never consented. And there was an uncomfortable connection to the very regime Nuremberg had just put on trial. American intelligence drew on Nazi research into “truth drugs” and even recruited Nazi scientists such as Kurt Plötner, who had experimented with mescaline on prisoners at Dachau. The search eventually became part of the CIA’s notorious MKULTRA program. They never found the truth serum. But the truth surfaced anyway - even despite orders to destroy all evidence.

MIT climate scientist (and former IPCC lead author) Dr. Richard Lindzen on the BS "positive feedback" claim underlying the climate scam: "The narrative was the climate is determined by a greenhouse effect, and adding CO2 to it increases it, causes warming, and moreover, the natural greenhouse substances besides CO2, water vapor, clouds, upper level clouds, will amplify whatever man does. Now, that immediately goes against Le Chatelier's principle, which says if you perturb a system and it is capable internally of counteracting it, it will, and our system is."

An article published on un-denial got me thinking about the feedback mechanisms which could push global civilization towards a rapidly accelerating simplification. Not because some evil / stupid / fill-in-the-blank people started a war, but because all technological civilizations are inherently unsustainable, and because they must come to an end no matter what. The Predicament The manufacturing, use and decommissioning of all our modern technologies require abundant mineral and energy flows. Non-renewable resources are at the core of every product and service we use: from all the metal and plastic parts in your car to the very screen you are reading this essay on. Powering these devices with fossil fuels or “renewables” is but a secondary question to the core of our technological and ecological predicament: the impossibility of maintaining a high-tech industrial civilization on a dwindling resource and ecological base. Naysayers, of course, treat this as “Malthusian” thinking, as if slapping a label on an idea could automatically negate it. The hand-waving over resource depletion and treating it as a mere technical issue is, however, nothing but a form of denial. See, in order to dismiss the uncomfortable truth of our civilization’s predicament one has to reject a number of well established and proven trends: •the logical fallacy of endless recycling •the rapidly worsening energy and material return on investment, and •the exponentially rising cost of complexity. open.substack.com/pub/thehon…

I called your wall street claim as pig slop. Focus on that bullshit claim and try and provide evidence for that. There's no need to spam all the technologies the soviets acquired from the people who had them, that's how human history works.
