This is the first time I’ve joined a political party. Historically I’ve voted Conservative, last time it was a rebellious vote for Reform after so many bad Tory decisions.
I have always voted for the party that limits immigration as, in the near 49 years I’ve been here, I can see the demographic shift in our nation. It’s not right what successive governments have done to our great nation.

Until all Islamists are removed from political offices Britain will never be secure.
I know the new charges made today will be extremely concerning. My profound sympathies are with Nigel Farage and his family.
Let no one make any mistake: an attack on anyone in politics is an attack on us all.
This case raises serious questions about the security of those in public life. We must use this as an opportunity to reset. Once parliament returns, I will update on our work to strengthen protections for those who choose to serve.
