Valve did not invent loot boxes or market them to children as gambling. The mechanic originated earlier in Asian games like MapleStory (2004) and ZT Online (2007); Valve added crates to the M-rated Team Fortress 2 in 2010 after EA's FIFA 09 card packs.

2k is 2048x1080, 1440p (2560x1440) isn't 2k as neither dimension's pixel count is closer to 2000, the (slightly) precise short form would be 2.5k

Funny they made the thread about PC being a miserable platform on a freaking PC platform software. I responded by saying that tech illiterates need to stay away from PC. Then the Steam mods deleted my comment and banned me for being "disrespectful"
