Just told the Judge that I didn't get done what he ordered last time because and I quote "Your Honor, I don't get to say this much so I'm going to say it and I'm sorry, but after our hearing last time I almost died and was admitted to the ER right after the hearing with pulmonary embolisms and blood clots all over my lungs and have been recovering after so I would ask for a 60 more days to complete this." The Judge responded and said sorry to hear that and you certainly look and sound better than you did last time, which I initially thought was perfunctory stuff, but come to find out he actually remembered my last appearance on August 17th, which is incredible considering it's Stanley Mosk in downtown LA. I had thought I had hidden my pain during that hearing but I guess not. I actually really appreciate this and it's a very overall positive thing and interaction and makes me feel emotional. A lot of Judges sadly would not really care, or notice. Perhaps he's my new favorite Judge.

Some lawyers need to have a long hard look at themselves if they do this…
