₹5,000 Crore Solar Manufacturing Investment: RSOLEC Eyes Tumakuru
Karnataka’s green energy ecosystem is set for another major boost.
Renaissance Solar and Electronic Materials (RSOLEC) has expressed its commitment to invest ₹5,000 crore to establish a 5 GW solar ingot and wafer manufacturing facility in Tumakuru.
The project is expected to create hundreds of jobs, strengthen the local economy, open new opportunities in solar manufacturing, and also serve as a key technology hub.
This marks another significant step in our efforts to position Karnataka as a leading manufacturing hub in future-focused sectors such as solar energy and semiconductors.
Today, I held discussions with RSOLEC Chairman Dr. Milind S. Kulkarni and assured him of fast-track approvals, necessary infrastructure and the Government’s full support for the project.
