I still wonder are these their kids, from the womb of MM? Or, do they really exist. It's all so mysterious when it shouldn't be.
Harry and Meghan seem determined to tell us what wonderful, thoughtful parents they are and what they are “instilling” in Archie and Lili.
They really need to stop using their children to demonstrate their worth as parents.
In June 2025, Meghan told Emma Grede that she and Harry were teaching Archie and Lili about privilege, patience, appreciation and the value of money. She talked about growing vegetables, waiting for them to grow, selling the harvest and understanding that things have a cost and a value.
Now Harry tells us that when the children had “Monday morning blues” and were “a little bit tricky,” he told them what he was doing at WellChild. They became “genuinely fascinated” and asked questions, so Harry said that he and Meghan try to “instill some of that awareness.”
Everything becomes evidence of what enlightened, socially conscious parents they supposedly are.
But here’s the part they should think about.
The internet is forever.
Archie and Lili are going to grow up with a permanent record of their parents telling the world what they were supposedly being taught at four, five, six and seven.
Imagine growing up and having the internet remind you: “But your parents said they were teaching you this from the age of four.”
What if they grow up differently? What if they don’t share those values? What if they have completely different priorities, beliefs or simply make their own mistakes?
Children are not props for their parents to demonstrate their worth.
Teach them privately. Model the values you want them to learn. Let them make mistakes. Let them become their own people.
You don’t need to keep telling the world what you’re supposedly instilling in your children.
Sometimes good parenting is simply parenting, not turning your children into evidence of how good a parent you are.
