What makes the scene so good is that Strange knew he couldn't beat Dormammu in a straight fight, so he found another way to deal with him. And Dormammu, for all his power, couldn't do anything about it. He could kill Strange as many times as he wanted, but that still wouldn't get him what he wanted. How do you even call yourself an all-powerful being when a human who couldn't match your strength managed to frustrate you into surrendering? Was Dormammu really outsmarted by Strange, or was his arrogance his biggest weakness?
