Here's the data for the Big 10 if you remove all of the Big 10-affiliated voters: #6 Indiana #7 Ohio State #12 USC #13 Penn State #17 Iowa #18 Michigan #19 Oregon The only changes are that Indiana drops one spot and Oregon moves up one spot.

Curious if you did the same for Big Ten

CFB rankings should be a measure of resume more than quality, right? So why do we rank teams based on their “ranked wins” if rankings don’t reflect the quality of who they played? No other sport does that. Rank teams on resume. Determine resume based on opponent power ratings.

Here’s where all of the other SEC teams land if you remove SEC-affiliated voters: 1. Texas 2. UGA 4. Ole Miss 8. Bama 10. LSU 14. Tennessee 19. Missouri 21. Florida 24. Mississippi State
Interesting Thursday facts: If you remove the SEC-affiliated voters from the AP Poll, Texas A&M moves UP a spot to #22.

The analysis shows that removing SEC-affiliated voters (about 1/3 of the panel) leaves the overall AP rankings nearly identical. Texas A&M is the noted exception, rising one spot to #22. The other ranked SEC teams stay essentially the same: Texas #1 Georgia #2 Ole Miss #4 Alabama #8 LSU #10 Tennessee #14 Missouri #19 Florida #21 Mississippi State #24

Another example of why fbs should be at 8 conf games and min of 2 p4 non conf and not isolate behind the conference shield. Not just sec all of them goto 8 and play 1 road and 1 home p4 game.

This is a yearly reminder that the committee uses rankings at the end of the regular season, not at the time that the game is played.
When LSU's resume is analyzed at the end of the season, this will count as a ranked win even if A&M finishes 5-7. When Arizona finishes 9-3 or 10-2 and ranked, BYU won't have a ranked win credited because they weren't at the time. The bias is unreal.

This is a yearly reminder that the better team does not always win. If Team A has an 80% win probability against team B, Team B is still expected to win 1 out of every 5 meetings. Team A is still the better team even though they lost that single game.

You have teams that lost head to head above the teams that won… this makes zero sense No way the domers are that high , their schedule is a joke
